ICD-10 Implementation

The compliance date for implementation of ICD-10 is October 1, 2015. Montana State Fund is currently in testing for ICD-10 and will be ready for ICD-10 submissions as of October 1, 2015.
Bills for dates of service prior to October 1, 2015 will need to be submitted using ICD-9 coding however, all dates of service as of October 1, 2015 will need to be ICD-10 compliant.
