Growing A Safer Montana: New High School Safety Program

Over 600 Montana high school students in construction trade and industry classes will be that much safer this school year through MSF’s new Growing a Safer Montana equipment grants program.

“Montana State Fund is proud to partner with Montana’s high schools to positively impact the importance of safety in the workplace for the next generation of Montana’s workers,” said Dan Johnson, MSF Safety Management Consultant. “It is our goal to provide personal protective equipment and safety information to students so they have the tools they need to champion safety both in their classrooms and in their future professional endeavors.”

The grant will provide students with safety glasses and hearing protection. MSF will also support teachers by supplying safety materials that they can use to reinforce safety awareness in their classrooms. In addition to these materials, an MSF safety professional will travel to the schools to make safety presentations.
