ICD-10 Code Set
MSF has been working with ACS, our medical bill review and payment vendor, on the requirements for transition to the ICD-10 code set. We are prepared to accept the new CMS1500 and UB04 forms at any time, but will not accept ICD-10 codes for dates of service prior to the October 1, 2014 implementation date.
Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Place of Service
When billing ASC services on the UB04 form, the place of service must be 831.
