New Hires Series:
Hiring For Safety
This workshop will continue our new hire safety focus featuring “The Probationary Period.” Nearly 41% of claims in the last three years at Montana State Fund have come from employees in their first year of employment.
To truly impact our safety culture and reduce workplace injuries overall, we must think about employee safety from beginning to end. After hiring and onboarding your new employee the probationary period is your next opportunity to ensure they understand your safety expectations.
In this free course we will discuss how probationary periods can benefit both employees and employers by emphasizing the importance of safety. Focusing on training and integration during probationary periods can help to enhance the overall safety and performance of your employees and set the foundation for a successful career. We will provide useful tools and guidance on:
- Mentor programs
- Work hardening programs
- Job safety analysis
- Safety touchpoints.
We want to help you KEEP the RIGHT employees!
