Plan Today for a Safer Tomorrow: Upcoming Safety Workshop

Join Montana State Fund this September for our free safety workshop Plan Today for a Safer Tomorrow.  At the workshop, we will give you the tools and solutions you need to improve the safety and health of your employees.

Topics include:
Emergency Action Plans: : Most of us live in the here and now and don’t spend much time preparing for an emergency that may or may not happen in the future. But unfortunately, emergencies are a reality and a serious well-thought out- plan needs to be developed. In this session, we will discuss how to plan, practice and prepare for all of the various “it will never happen to me” situations (e.g. fire, natural disasters, violence, active shooter, injured worker) that may occur.

Hazard Communication Program: A hazard communication program can mean many things to many people, but OSHA defines this program as one that provides people the right-to-know the chemical hazards they are exposed to in the workplace.  Over the past few years, OSHA has made some significant requirement changes to their hazard communication program. During this session, we will explore the many aspects of the program and the steps you can take to stay in compliance to best protect your employees.
