Engage in Safety: Upcoming Safety Workshops
Join MSF’s safety service staff this September as they cover how to improve the safety culture of your organization through employer/employee engagement and the development and implementation of a lockout/tagout program.
Employee Engagement/Safety Committee – What is employee engagement and how does it apply to safety? In this session, we will discuss the keys of employee engagement and how it positively affects safety in your workplace. One major tool to help you engage your employees is the use of safety committees. Safety committees provide the perfect opportunity to tap into the knowledge of your front line workers and engage them in the process.
Safety: The Return on Investment – One question that is always asked “How do I convince my boss or top management to buy into safety?” This is never an easy task, but during this section we will explore the options that you have at your disposal to present the strongest case possible for safety.
OSHA’s Lockout/Tagout Program – In this session, we will breakdown OSHA’s Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Program requirements and put them into an easy to understand process. We will cover the purpose of the program, what it does and doesn’t cover. We will discuss a step by step process to develop and implement a full LOTO program involving the engagement of your employees.
