Changing the Way You Think About Safety: Upcoming Safety Workshops

brilliant_mind_cs2Join Montana State Fund’s staff this March for our next round of free safety workshops.

Topics include:
People-Based Safety: Kirk Smith, MSF Safety Services Specialist, will present an introduction to Dr. Scott Geller’s People-Based Safety. In his book, Leading People-Based Safety – Enriching Your Culture, Dr. Geller takes a new approach to building a culture of safety. This session will be the first of a four part series on People Based Safety. The other sessions will be included in our upcoming safety workshops in June 2013, September 2013 and December 2013.

The Claims Process: Do you understand what your injured employee goes through when they file a claim? Do you know your responsibilities to an injured employee? Do realize there are ways to help your injured employees get back to work? Are you aware of the Federal laws that must be followed when a claim is filed? If you answered “no” to any of these questions join us for a step by step explanation of the claims process.
